Twenty years, countless breakdowns, and a whole lot of punishment later, Whitechapel are still going strong. The Tennessee deathcore heavyweights have unveiled a new music video for “Bedlam,” arriving just days before they hit the road for their highly anticipated 20th anniversary North American tour.
For a band that's spent two decades helping define modern deathcore, reaching the 20-year mark is no small feat. Since forming in Knoxville in 2006, Whitechapel have evolved from underground newcomers into one of the genre's most recognizable names, with vocalist Phil Bozeman's unmistakable growls and the band's punishing guitar work becoming staples of their sound.
The new “Bedlam” video arrives at an appropriate moment, giving fans something to sink their teeth into before the band returns to the stage. It's another reminder of the sheer intensity that has kept Whitechapel at the forefront of heavy music for two decades.
And while plenty of bands from the mid-2000s deathcore explosion have come and gone, Whitechapel have continued to evolve without abandoning the heaviness that built their reputation.
Their upcoming 20th-anniversary headlining tour promises to celebrate that history, bringing together longtime fans who discovered the band with their earliest releases and a newer generation raised on their more recent material. For tickets, click HERE!
Watch the new video for “Bedlam” and catch Whitechapel on their 20th anniversary North American tour beginning next week.
