VIVA LA FRANCE! INDIE ROCKERS HOORSEES RELEASE ADDICTIVE NEW TRACK “OVERDRY”
Indie rock has slowly been on the rise since the early 2000s and the group Hoorsees proves that the genre is alive and thriving!
Their new song “Overdry” is a perfect example of modern indie rock. Clean melodic guitars for the verses, fuzz for the chorus, and a driving drum and bass grove is the perfect recipe for an instant classic in the indie world. '
The vocalist has a great vocal tone that compliments the band very well. It is distinct, unique, and simply beautiful. The organization of the song follows the indie rock layout very well. This tune could easily be heard on the radio and become a hit.
The guitars in the chorus blend really well as well as the backup vocals that are melodic and groovy. I can tell these guys are paying homage to legends such as The Cure and The Strokes with this tune. Hoorsees is gearing up to release a full-length album next year through Kanine Records (US) as well as Howlin Banana Records (FR). I would definitely see them live given the chance and buy their album if I stumbled upon it in a record store.
