TRIO INDIE BAND DIZZY SPELLS ARE HARD AT WORK WITH A NEW SINGLE OFF THEIR LP "WANT"
L.A.-based trio band Dizzy Spells are hard at work writing new songs in their Calabasas shack and releasing top-notch new music, such as their latest track “Want” and furthermore, a new LP coming out this November.
The new track is simple and easy to sing along to. The melodies and lines are smooth and very minimalistic to fit the vibe of the entire song. Most of their other tracks are filled with lyrics but with “Want” they went the opposite direction.
“It was a really useful exploration for us to be conscious of, and structure the melodies around the idea of keeping it simple for this song” said by Dizzy Spells. It’s an amazingly written track that never loses the Indie-pop feel with a combination of sounds and styles. Member Bryden Deskins says, “Now that we’re thinking about it, maybe it was a form of self-therapy and comfort to have these familiar sounds scattered so thoroughly around an album that was so dense with somber, negative, anxious feelings”.
Dizzy Spells are filled with bulletproof ideas with their tracks and “Want” is the proof of a well man-birthed song.
