THE MENZINGERS ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM EVERYTHING I EVER SAW, SHARE “CHANCE ENCOUNTERS”
The Menzingers are back with a new full-length, Everything I Ever Saw, set for release July 17. Alongside the announcement, the band has shared a new single, “Chance Encounters,” offering the first real glimpse into the next phase of a band that’s built a career on reflection, grit, and growing up without losing the plot.
If you’ve followed The Menzingers over the years, you already know the deal. Big hooks, lived-in lyrics, and that balance between nostalgia and forward motion that somehow never feels forced. From On the Impossible Past through their more recent material, they’ve consistently sharpened their songwriting while keeping that blue-collar, heart-on-sleeve core intact.
“Chance Encounters” leans right into that space. It’s melodic and immediate, but there’s weight underneath it. The kind of song that feels familiar in the best way, like it’s been sitting with you longer than it actually has.
Everything I Ever Saw looks to continue that trajectory. There’s a sense of looking back without getting stuck there, pushing forward while still acknowledging everything that got them here. It’s the kind of balance that The Menzingers have made their identity.
The band has also opened up preorders for the record, with multiple formats available now through their official site. If “Chance Encounters” is any indication, this next release isn’t about reinventing the wheel. It’s about refining what they already do better than most.
