TEMPLES DROPS ADVENTUROUS SONG “VENDETTA”

In “Vendetta,” Temples meshes multiple different sounds together in a way that is seamless, creating a genre-bending track that is dark, catchy and danceable. While previously sticking to softer 60s psychedelic tones, this track is bold from start to finish. This new era shows the confidence they’ve garnered and offers a look into their upcoming LP, ‘BLISS.’

While “Vendetta” is through and through a club song, the UK-based band’s approach is anything but ordinary.

With tones reminiscent of tech house, the band uses heavily distorted guitar to add an edge to the track. Production is top-notch, with layering that consistently keeps you on your toes through each listen.

From start to finish, the track begs for attention. It’s an amalgamation of genres – dipping into disco, house, and their signature psychedelic sound.

As the song slows around the halfway mark, they lean heavily into those iconic house chords. The buildup is similar to the likes of John Summit, taking popular progression and giving it a darker twist. It releases into a rhythm so catchy that you can’t help but move, leaving you to feel every bump.

The lyrics match the bold energy, discussing the angst of letting go. As you sway to the power of the drum beats, the music calls you to release any remaining tension.

The music video’s vision is exactly what listening to the song feels like. With monochrome motifs and flashing lights, the band shows off their spunk and gives serious club vibes.

Overall, “Vendetta” is upbeat, spunky, and incredibly danceable. It’s a fun, carefree vibe that we haven’t seen from Temples until now. One thing’s for certain – they’re ready to pack a punch for their new album.
