SICK NEW WORLD CANCELS 2025 FESTIVAL DATES

Sick New World takes place every year at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds—except in 2025. Rumors circulated the past several weeks that the heavy metal counterpart to When We Were Young would get cancelled.

Mr. Bungle bassist Trevor Dunn sparked these rumors, stating:

“I’m probably not supposed to talk about this, but it’s not happening. It’ll come out in the wash soon, but basically, the festival (Sick New World) is not happening (in 2025).”

This surprising cancellation was caused by “unforeseen circumstances that we are unable to overcome for next year’s show” according to the festival’s official social media pages.

These “unforeseen circumstances” have not been made clear to the public yet. However, more information may be released as time continues. Or, this will remain an unsolved mystery…

Many are speculating that ticket prices were too high to meet the demand of the budget to break even on this year’s lineup.

All tickets sold by Front Gate Tickets will automatically be refunded.
