This tour shares its name with their 2020 album, POWER UP, which debuted at #1 in 21 countries. In 2024, AC/DC completed a European leg of the POWER UP Tour, filling major stadiums across the continent. The album not only secured their third #1 debut on the Billboard 200 but also became one of the best-selling albums of 2020 globally. It was featured on Rolling Stone’s “Top 50 Albums of 2020” and Consequence of Sound’s “Top 50 Albums of 2020.” Additionally, it received GRAMMY® Award nominations for “Best Rock Album,” “Best Rock Performance,” and “Best Music Video” for “Shot In The Dark.” You can find POWER UP available HERE.
AC/DC’s journey began on December 31, 1973, with their first show at Chequers Nightclub in Sydney, Australia. With over 200 million albums sold worldwide, they are one of the most influential rock bands in history. Their Back In Black LP remains the “bestselling album by any band ever” and the “third bestselling album by any artist” with over 50 million copies sold. AC/DC was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame® in 2003 and continues to sell out stadiums across multiple continents, move millions of albums each year, and generate billions of streams.
To maintain their status as the world’s greatest rock and roll band, AC/DC—comprised of Angus Young on lead guitar, vocalist Brian Johnson, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug, and bassist Chris Chaney—is returning to perform for their ever-growing legion of dedicated fans.
