PUP SHARE MUSIC VIDEO FOR “CONCRETE” ONE YEAR IN THE MAKING & SHARE NEW SONG “IF THIS IS IT”

PUP by Dan Ozzi

PUP is giving fans plenty to celebrate today, unveiling the long-awaited music video for “Concrete” while simultaneously dropping a brand-new song, “If This Is It.” The double release marks another exciting chapter for the Toronto punk favorites, who continue to prove that no one blends chaos, humor, and heart quite like they do.

The year-long wait for the “Concrete” music video was more than worth it. Presented entirely in stop-motion, the brilliantly creative visual finds PUP literally performing the song across the pages of a magazine, jumping between photos, headlines, and layouts with incredible precision. It's one of the most inventive music videos we've seen in a long time, packed with clever details that make it worth watching again and again. Sometimes the simplest ideas are the most brilliant, and PUP absolutely nailed this one.

As if that wasn't enough, PUP have also surprised listeners with “If This Is It,” a brand-new song that showcases another side of the band's ever-evolving sound. While still packed with the razor-sharp hooks, emotional honesty, and infectious punk energy that have become their calling card, the track demonstrates the band's continued willingness to push their songwriting forward without sacrificing the urgency that first won over fans.

Between the year-in-the-making visual for “Concrete” and the arrival of “If This Is It,” it's clear PUP aren't slowing down anytime soon. If these releases are any indication of what's ahead, fans have plenty more to look forward to.
