FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH ANNOUNCE LEGACY, UNLEASH NEW SINGLE “DE OPPRESSO LIBER”

Five Finger Death Punch has officially kicked off the next chapter of their career with the announcement of their tenth studio album, Legacy. Alongside the news, the multi-platinum hard rock giants have released the album's lead single, “De Oppresso Liber,” giving fans their first taste of what's to come. The digital edition of Legacy arrives July 31, with CD, vinyl, and cassette versions following on September 18.

“De Oppresso Liber” finds Five Finger Death Punch doing exactly what they've built their reputation on for nearly two decades: delivering massive riffs, thunderous grooves, and arena-sized hooks. Balancing crushing heaviness with melodic choruses, the track captures the band's signature sound while showcasing the confidence and polish that have made them one of modern hard rock's most successful acts.

The title itself, De Oppresso Liber, is a Latin phrase meaning "to free the oppressed" and serves as the official motto of the U.S. Army Special Forces. It's a fitting name for a song that carries themes of resilience, perseverance, and refusing to back down, ideas that have long been woven throughout Five Finger Death Punch's catalog.

Legacy marks the band's first full-length studio album since 2022's AfterLife and promises to continue the momentum they've built over an impressive 20-year career. With countless No. 1 rock singles, billions of streams, and multiple gold and platinum certifications, Five Finger Death Punch remains one of heavy music's biggest names, consistently filling arenas worldwide.

The album announcement arrives just as the band prepares to launch the first leg of its 20th Anniversary World Tour. The North American run will feature support from Cody Jinks and Eva Under Fire before the band heads overseas in early 2027 for a European arena tour alongside Lamb of God and Bleed From Within.

Legacy is available digitally on July 31, with physical editions arriving September 18. To preorder, click HERE. For concert tickets, click HERE!
