PREMIERE: TEMPLES DROP POWERFUL TRACK “GLIMMER” ALONGSIDE NEW ALBUM

“Glimmer” by Temples is everything you need this summer – it’s fun, fresh, and extremely funky. It seems to be a trend within all of Temples’ new releases; they’re just straight-up good. They’re also spoiling us at the same time with their new experimental album, Bliss, which is now out everywhere.
This track has some serious power – with an upbeat mix that’ll get your toes tapping upon the first second of the heavy bass riff meets your ears. Even as an instrumental layer, it truly reveals how dynamic the band’s chemistry has gotten. James Bagshaw’s timeless vocals surround your senses, with far-away reverb that gives Tame Impala vibes.
There are psychedelic notes, electronic elements, and an overall poppy vibe that really make it a unique track. They don’t forget the heaviness, though, as in some moments you get pounded into oblivion by distorted guitar riffs.
“Glimmer” is an excellent introduction to their new album; you can really tell that they had a blast creating the song. The track feels incredibly polished while still maintaining the classic alternative dance style they’ve achieved. Temples prove that the dance floor is still alive and well, so put on the song and join in.
