BELMONT RETURN WITH NEW EP LAST TO LOVE AND VIDEO FOR “CARRY ON”
Chicago genre-benders Belmont have returned with their brand-new EP Last To Love, out now through Pure Noise Records, and a striking new single and video titled “Carry On.”
Since emerging in the late 2010s, Belmont have built their reputation on pushing past pop-punk conventions, folding in everything from metalcore breakdowns to progressive guitar work and electronic textures. Their 2022 full-length Aftermath proved they weren’t interested in simply repeating themselves, and Last To Love carries that spirit forward. The EP is sharp, urgent, and emotional, balancing heavy riffs with soaring choruses and a precision that underscores just how far the band has come.
The focus track, “Carry On,” captures Belmont at their most anthemic. It’s a song that hits hard in every direction; chugging guitars, relentless drums, and a hook built to stick. The accompanying video amplifies the energy, pairing raw performance shots with vivid imagery that mirrors the song’s themes of persistence and release. It feels both cathartic and forward-looking, a reminder that Belmont has carved out their own space in modern alternative music rather than conforming to a single genre lane.
With Last To Love, Belmont reaffirms why they’ve become one of Pure Noise Records’ most versatile acts. The EP is compact but impactful, a project that invites longtime fans deeper while also pulling in listeners from the heavier side of the spectrum. It’s Belmont doubling down on experimentation, growth, and the raw emotional power that has defined their career to this point.
Last To Love and the video for “Carry On” are out now and streaming everywhere.
