PERENNIAL RELEASE MODERN-DAY GARAGE-ROCK ANTHEM “PERENNIAL ‘95”

Simple yet effective, garage rock has transformed itself many times over. Perennial is a garage rock band for the ages; their approach tackles tried-and-true methods while adding their unique perspective. Their new single, “Perennial ‘95,” is absurdly catchy but profoundly relevant.

Self-described as “art-punk chaos,” this group predominantly tackles a British punk style close to The Clash. The tracks are studio-polished but scrappy, not too perfect. They sound amazing, with perfectly distorted guitar tones allowing a chant-chorus to take the lead.

“What’s the signal? What’s the sound?” they ask. “All my friends are going underground!”

This clever double entendre marks Perennial’s lyrical style. It punctuates a thoughtful approach to songwriting without trying too hard, just as punks of the past did.

“Perennial ‘95” is timely, topical, and downright catchy AF. It will be stuck in my head for weeks!
