“HOLY” FINDS ÒLAH BLISS BARING HER TORMENTED, CONFLICTED SOUL

So much for trusted and reliable friends. Òlah Bliss feels abandoned and betrayed trying to crawl out of the abyss of alcoholism and drug addiction on her new single, “Holy.” Too many late nights and endless days just sleeping off the effects of pills and booze. Through all, her faith in Christianity, though somewhere lurking in the distance, is a reminder there is still hope, and yes, light, at the end of a very dark tunnel.

“Holy” is a moody, epic alternative/synth-pop single with shimmering and pronounced piano chords. The London-based, Polish-born musician Òlah Bliss has what can be described as a “unique voice” that possesses a steely nerve of determination balanced by a precious quality of naked vulnerability.

Turning righteously to God for help because often humans fail one another, especially in their darkest hour of need, “Holy” is a strong testament to having an unshakable belief in a higher being and its transformative power.
