HOLLY BLAIR AMBITIOUSLY USES AI TO UNDERSTAND HUMAN CONSCIOUSNESS IN “USED TO DYING”

L.A.-based multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and filmmaker Holly Blair created a timely and relevant new single in “Used To Dying.”  The gender-fluid, queer artist draws her music inspiration from Bully, The Japanese House and Porches.

The cinematic and expansive soundscape mimics technology to match the thematic content of the lyrics. It meshes well with the modern and contemporary construct of making sense of a world that is ever-changing from the unique perspective of AI.

Blair has described this song as “her awareness of constantly being reset and starting over as a blank slate intended to learn for the benefit of something larger than her.”  “Used To Dying” is a challenging and rewarding track that gives the listener a lot to think about, ponder, and consider as to one’s existence and role in their own life.
