EXPERIMENTAL INDIE ROCKER FONN DROPS HEARTBREAKING SINGLE "BELOW"

We can all admit there’s no shortage of fresh tunes in this world. New music constantly graces our ears and our emotions. But as new music continues to bombard us, it’s the tracks that stand out that will continue to stick. The latest indie-rock creation by FONN titled “Below” will attach to you like superglue.

Starting off with a soft array of vocals and instrumentation, FONN lays the groundwork for a track that will build and excel as time goes on. Once the second verse makes its arrival known, spastic sounds and glitchy notes are heard, which only exemplify the singer-songwriter’s brilliance. Lyrically, the track digs into heartbreak, depression, and anxiety.

Speaking about his new release, FONN explains: “This track is really about struggling with mental health - through the lens of a relationship breakdown. I think we’ve all been there at one point or another - and I wanted to play with the instability of time signature changes etc to really underpin that feeling of unease - whilst also letting the track be accessible.’
