SINGER/SONGWRITER MADDY TOY FROM HA VAY RELEASES NEW SINGLE "ODE TO THE PARTY GIRL"

As her fanbase grows rapidly, singer/songwriter Lila Thompson has a fantastic catalog of songs in store. She's released a new single titled "Ode To The Party Girl," taking on a new rock anthem for her band Ha Vay with a DIY cowgirl-themed music video attached to the project, making it a perfect party song.

Ha Vay's new punk rock song successfully delivers what she can accomplish in contrast to her previous tracks that take on a more psychedelic/indie tone style, some banger folky ones too. Still, with this new track, she goes a little more challenging without losing that psychedelic hyper pop element that every road trip tune needs. I also thought the 90's style DIY music video was well done with the Joshua Tree landscapes and filming inside cheap motels, including the disco cowgirl theme cultivating Toy's independence; showing a reclamation to her Miley phase filled with memories, adventures, ultimately leading up to adulthood seen from the perspective of a "girls gone wild' narrative without the flashing.
