DAN CROLL’S NEW SINGLE “BIG ONE” IS AN UPBEAT ODE TO CLAMITY

Life isn’t always fair. Sometimes, things just…suck. British indie master Dan Croll has crafted a marvelously upbeat anthem for those poor souls plagued with bad luck. Inspired by a 12 month stint living in good ol’ Los Angeles, Croll’s new single “Big One” recalls the annoyance and anxieties he endured during his stay. From irksome neighbors, to fears of getting bludgeoned to death via earthquake; the darker side of Croll’s lyrics are masked by the insanely catchy indie pop stylings of his music. We’re talking infectious keys, booty shakin’ bass grooves, perpetually stomping kick drums, and why yes, even a hefty dose of cowbell. Sometimes life sucks, but at least it has a cool soundtrack?
