SLEEPING WITH SIRENS RETURN WITH NEW SINGLE + VIDEO “AN ENDING IN ITSELF”
Sleeping With Sirens are back with new music, and it hits a little closer than expected.
The band just dropped “An Ending In Itself” along with a new video, marking their first release in a minute and a return that leans into everything they’ve always done best. The track balances melody and weight, with Kellin Quinn moving between softer, vulnerable moments and more urgent bursts.
Lyrically, it’s about as direct as it gets. Quinn calls it “a love letter to anyone in the midst of struggle,” pushing back on the idea that we always have to look like we’ve got everything together. Instead, the song leans into being honest about not being okay and actually letting people in. It’s simple, but it lands.
Behind the scenes, the track came together fast. Producer Will Yip said they walked into the studio with no real expectations and built the song from scratch in a matter of hours, something that ended up shaping not just the track but their relationship moving forward.
The video, directed by Max Moore, keeps things visually minimal but effective. Shot in a small room with an orange carpet and scattered trees, it creates this contained, almost surreal space. It shifts between color and black-and-white, with Quinn eventually lighting the last living tree on fire, tying into the song’s themes of struggle and release without overexplaining them.
It’s not just a one-off either. Sleeping With Sirens is lining up a big year ahead with appearances at Welcome to Rockville, Warped Tour, Inkcarceration, Louder Than Life, and Aftershock.
