BRADLEY DENNISTON’S “HIGH LIFE” IS A UNIQUE KNOCKOUT SINGLE THAT GOES FOR THE JUGULAR
Bradley Denniston is a man of many talents and is quite extraordinary. This musical wunderkind is a producer, singer, composer, engineer, and instrumentalist. He has also worked on blockbuster movies and with platinum-selling artists. Who better than Dennison to pen a song called “High Life,” who knows a thing or two about that and has had more than a taste of it. He sings “High Life” with so much passionate determination and gives new meaning to “going for broke.”
The vocal performance is truly outstanding and unforgettable. It’s exciting to hear him bite into the lyrics and spit them out about “Hollywood’s weird politics and games.”
They also tap into “the obsessive reach for something that is only there for a limited time.” Yes, fame can be very fleeting, but oh so seductive and addictive.
“High Life” is an alternative pop/rock track with a twist that doesn’t sound like anything. It’s big, brash, and defiantly bold. Musically, a lot goes on with drums, bass, guitars (electric and acoustic), saxophones, trombones, and trumpet. It’s truly eclectic. Yet, somehow, it all works together.
“High Life” defies simple categorization, even with a time-worn tale of “all that glitters is hardly gold,” but it works like a charm, and that allure never gets old because Bradley Dennison breathes a mighty new life into it.
