BENEDICT OCTOBER’S NEW LOVE SONG “LUST FOR LIFE” WILL LEAVE YOU HEARTBROKEN

Ironically, February is the month of love and heartbreak. For me, it leans more towards the heartbreak. So, it’s no wonder that Benedict October’s soon-to-be-released track ‘Lust For Life’ has emotionally touched me. The track is a beautiful, painful, heartbreakingly romantic, and depressing love song. How can I get through the chorus when the lyrics are saying, “I just lost my lust for life?” Contrary to Lana Del Rey’s similarly titled track ‘Lust for Life’, October’s track sings of a love that is lost to the point where the lust of life itself has ceased to exist.

Some of my favorite lines from the track:

“You and I have been here for a while; not a lot has changed /

It’s wildly sad how our love survives.”

“Your wrinkled skin shows where time has been.”

Sorrowful but hopeful, the track hopes to encourage the listeners to live and love life to the fullest because, as you know, they always say... It is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.

The artist is an amazing songwriter who uses his words for therapy and healing. His music is not only beautiful to hear, but it is also helpful when you need that extra push to release your inner feelings.
