Bring Me the Horizon just dropped one of the biggest heavy music announcements of the year.

The band is fully re-recording their 2006 debut Count Your Blessings for its 20th anniversary, and they’re taking it a step further by performing the album live in full for the first time ever.

The new version, Count Your Blessings | Repented, arrives July 10. This is not a remaster or remix. The band is calling it a “reactivation” and “recontextualization,” meaning the record has been rebuilt from the ground up.

Originally released in 2006, Count Your Blessings was raw, chaotic deathcore that helped define a generation. Tracks like “Pray for Plagues” and “For Stevie Wonder’s Eyes Only (Braille)” became staples of the era, and their influence is still everywhere today.

Now, Oli Sykes and Lee Malia have teamed up with mixer Buster Odeholm to bring the album into 2026, describing it as “reborn, sharper, heavier, and more vital than ever.” Even deep cuts are getting love, with “Liquor & Lost Love” reverting to its original title, “Dragon Slaying.”

On the live side, BMTH will perform the album front to back on July 10 at Manchester’s BEC Arena as part of “Outbreak Presents: Count Your Blessings | Repented,” co-curated with Outbreak Festival. It marks the first time they’ve ever played the record in full, something fans have been asking for for years.

The supporting lineup is stacked. Static Dress, Rolo Tomassi, Dying Wish, Heriot, Car Underwater, and Still In Love are all on the bill, making this feel more like a full-blown event than just a show.

Tickets go on sale April 17, with pre-sale access starting April 15 for those who pre-order the album. Given the demand, waiting is probably not the move.
