THE STROKES ANNOUNCE NEW TOUR, RETURNING TO THE ROAD WITH A RUN OF HIGHLY ANTICIPATED DATES
The Strokes are officially back in a big way.
The band has unveiled a massive global tour kicking off in June and running through the fall, hitting North America, the U.K., Europe, and Japan. Stops include two nights at Red Rocks, London’s The O2, Toronto’s RBC Amphitheater, Paris’ Accor Arena, and Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome, with support from Thundercat, Cage the Elephant, Hamilton Leithauser, Fat White Family, Alex Cameron, and ÖLÜM on select dates.
Presales begin Wednesday, April 15, with general on sale set for Friday, April 17. Fans looking to access the North American artist presale will need to register by April 14.
The announcement lands just as the band comes off the first weekend of Coachella, with additional headline slots lined up for Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, and Japan’s Summer Sonic later this year. It’s a packed return that signals this isn’t just a tour, it’s a full-scale rollout.
Alongside the tour news, The Strokes have confirmed their seventh studio album, Reality Awaits, arriving June 26 via Cult Records and RCA Records. The record marks their first new release since 2020’s The New Abnormal and was recorded in Costa Rica with producer Rick Rubin, then finished across multiple locations worldwide.
The band has already shared the album’s lead single, “Going Shopping,” offering the first glimpse into this new era.
Since their 2001 debut, The Strokes have remained one of the defining bands of modern rock, shaping the sound of an entire generation while continuing to evolve on their own terms. With a new album on the way and a global tour locked in, 2026 is shaping up to be a major year for the New York outfit.
Tickets are expected to move quickly.
