KEROSENE COCKTAIL’S NEW SINGLE “POLAROIDS” IS THE BEST POP PUNK SONG IN AGES

Kerosene Cocktail are an explosive new rock band out of the UK, pulling from the infectious pop punk of the early 2000s while dialing it up with a bigger, more anthemic punch. Their new single, “Polaroids,” is all crunch and momentum. Guitars rip, the bass drives, drums hit fast, and the hooks don’t let go.

At first, you’ll catch yourself thinking Jasmine Wills has a great voice. Give it another spin, and it clicks. By the third, you’re fully in, screaming along like it’s 2005 and you just discovered your new favorite band.

Wills is the real weapon here. Grit, power, control. She’s doing a lot without ever sounding like she’s trying too hard. It just lands.

“Polaroids” feels like that sweet spot between Blink-182 and The Distillers, with the kind of vocal presence you’d expect from Hayley Williams. It’s loud, catchy, and built to be played with the windows down.

Punk doesn’t need to sound this polished, but Kerosene Cocktail makes a strong case for why it should.
