RESTRAINING ORDER DROP “KNOW NOT,” ANNOUNCE NEW LP

New England hardcore torchbearers Restraining Order have signed with Blue Grape Music and announced their third full-length album, Future Fortune, due out September 12. To mark the big news, the band just dropped a gripping music video for the album’s lead single, “Know Not.”

“Know Not” comes in hot—just shy of two minutes of relentless riffs, pounding drums, and straight‑to‑the-point vocals. Vocalist Pat Cozens explains that the song tackles life’s complexity and the relentless push to keep moving forward, even when everything seems to lead you astray. “Life will always be confusing,” he says, “but we all know deep down what we have to do to be our best.'“

Directed by Austin Gomez, the video blends live-performance intensity with glimpses into the band’s fiery spirit—black-and-white visuals capture the raw energy and urgency behind their message.

Blue Grape Music is already home to heavy hitters like Code Orange and Superheaven, and this partnership marks a major step up for Restraining Order, following earlier releases on Triple B Records. Future Fortune comprises 13 tracks—including titles like “Shame Game,” “Checkmate,” and the title track itself.

Restraining Order are set to kick off a Northeast mini-tour in support of the release, with dates lined up in Amherst, MA (Sept 11), Hamden, CT (Sept 12) and Massapequa, NY (Sept 13).
