MAMMOTH WELCOMES “THE SPELL” AND NEW ALBUM THE END, DUE OCTOBER 24

A riff-heavy and melodic slice of hard rock, “The Spell” is instantly memorable. The performance video—directed by Gordy De St. Jeor—features Wolfgang playing every instrument himself, reaffirming his solo-band ethos. With a hypnotic, palm-muted groove and layered vocals, it’s a track that strikes a balance between technical skill and accessible songwriting.

The End follows Mammoth’s 2023 album Mammoth II and continues Wolfgang’s trademark approach: writing and performing every part himself, produced at Eddie Van Halen’s legendary 5150 studio with Michael “Elvis” Baskette. Clocking in at just under 40 minutes across ten tracks, it promises concise yet rich musical landscapes.

Wolfgang shared that recording live—from one instrument to the next without relying on click tracks or computer demos—brought a sense of urgency and cohesion to the project.

Mammoth dropped the album’s title track in May (which broke into the Top 10 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart), alongside a high-profile video collaboration with Robert Rodriguez and Greg Nicotero, featuring cameos from Danny Trejo, Myles Kennedy, Slash, and more.

Fans can now pre-order The End in various formats, including limited-edition colored vinyl and signed inserts.

Mammoth is currently touring with Creed through summer 2025 and will follow with their headline “The End Tour” in the fall, featuring Myles Kennedy as support.
