WITH “SLEEP IN IT,” C.O.F.F.I.N. MAKE THEIR BED AND DROP THE TRUTH IN IT

Veteran Australian rockers C.O.F.F.I.N. are back with another shot of adrenaline on their latest single, “Sleep In It.” Serving as the first taste of their upcoming live album, Out In Oslo, the track is a high-octane blast of garage punk that proves the band hasn't lost an ounce of their grit or intensity.

“Sleep In It” distills everything that makes C.O.F.F.I.N. such a force into one explosive package. Equal parts punk rock chaos and swaggering garage rock, the song barrels forward with breakneck energy, razor-sharp riffs, infectious grooves, and enough attitude to fill a dive bar ten times over. It's loud, relentless, and impossible to sit still through.

One of the band's defining strengths remains Jack McEwan, who somehow manages to front the band while simultaneously driving the rhythm from behind the drum kit. It's an impressive balancing act that gives C.O.F.F.I.N. a unique identity, injecting every song with an urgency that feels as authentic as it is exhilarating.

Despite its rough-around-the-edges spirit, “Sleep In It” is remarkably tight. Sleazy, snarling vocals crash into pounding drums and scuzzy guitar work before giving way to blistering solos that elevate the track even further. The result is a song that sounds raw without feeling sloppy, capturing the controlled chaos that has become C.O.F.F.I.N.'s calling card.

With Out In Oslo on the horizon and their documentary 10,000 Miles From Oslo set to introduce even more listeners to the band's relentless work ethic and explosive live shows, C.O.F.F.I.N. are poised to bring their uncompromising brand of Australian punk rock to an even bigger audience. If “Sleep In It” is any indication, they're just getting started.
