Weezer has never been afraid to poke fun at themselves, and their brand new music video for "C.E.O." continues that tradition in spectacular fashion. The video stars filmmaker and comedian Curry Barker alongside a lineup of celebrity cameos, while cleverly tipping its hat to one of the band's most beloved classics, "Undone – The Sweater Song."

Rather than taking itself too seriously, the "C.E.O." video embraces absurdity from start to finish. Barker steps into the spotlight as the story unfolds through a series of comedic moments, with familiar faces making surprise appearances along the way. The result is a visual that's equal parts satire, nostalgia, and classic Weezer humor.

Longtime fans will immediately recognize one of the video's biggest highlights: a loving homage to "The Sweater Song." More than 30 years after the release of the song that helped launch Weezer into rock history, the band revisits elements of its iconic visual style, creating a clever callback that's sure to resonate with fans who have been along for the ride since the Blue Album era.

Musically, "C.E.O." delivers exactly what listeners have come to expect from Weezer. Crunchy power chords, infectious melodies, and Rivers Cuomo's unmistakable vocal delivery combine to create another irresistibly catchy slice of alternative rock. The song pairs the band's signature hooks with tongue-in-cheek commentary, proving Weezer still knows how to balance humor with memorable songwriting.

Even after decades of success, Weezer continues to find fresh ways to celebrate their past without becoming trapped by it. "C.E.O." doesn't simply rely on nostalgia. Instead, it uses it as a springboard for something new, blending modern comedy, celebrity cameos, and classic Weezer charm into one entertaining package.

Weezer's forthcoming album, The Gold Album, is set for release on August 21 via Reprise/Warner.
