WARGASM UNLEASH CHAOTIC NEW SINGLE “SWALLOW,” BUILT FOR PURE MAYHEM
WARGASM are back with another dose of controlled chaos, unleashing their latest single, “Swallow.”
The explosive electronic metalcore duo has spent the last several years smashing together metal, punk, industrial electronics and rave culture into something that feels distinctly their own. “Swallow” keeps that formula intact while leaning into a song that feels immediate, reckless and surprisingly accessible.
Or, as the band puts it: “From the creators of spit comes ‘Swallow.’”
Clocking in at just three minutes and two seconds, the new track wastes very little time getting to the point. WARGASM describes it as a song designed to make you “drink, fuck, fight, and love” within its brief runtime, which is a pretty accurate mission statement for the kind of beautiful mess the duo has built their name around.
According to the band, “Swallow” was “born in a dive bar, destined for mainstream radio.” It’s an ambitious declaration, but the track certainly carries the kind of massive hook and immediate energy that could push WARGASM even further outside the confines of the heavy music world.
There’s still plenty of aggression underneath it all. The electronic production collides with distorted guitars and the confrontational attitude that has become the duo's calling card, but “Swallow” doesn’t seem interested in simply being as heavy as possible. Instead, WARGASM continues playing with the line between underground chaos and something genuinely catchy.
The band is already feeling pretty confident about where the track is headed, cheekily predicting that it will soon become “WARGASM’s most played song. Obviously.”
Confidence has never exactly been in short supply with WARGASM, and honestly, we wouldn’t want it any other way.
