True to its name, “Star” by carol will transport you to another universe. Addicting and enchanting, the Italian singer surrounds herself in a new shoegaze-heavy dreampop sound.

There is an intense synergy among the instruments, effortlessly layering to create a delicate soundscape. The distant synths and intense bass of the track pump through your veins, injecting an introspective sound.

It’s a slow-burner – one that takes a few listens to feel the full weight. carol projects her deep and soothing vocals to match the atmospheric energy of the track. Instead of projecting listeners into a specific story, she lets them move with the song, almost like a meditative trip.
