TOLEDO RELEASES NEW ACOUSTIC SINGLE "IT'S ALIVE!"

The indie-folk duo Toledo is ready to release the last single for their EP that’s guaranteed to make you cry a river. The track titled “It’s Alive” will get your emotions elevated with the acoustics echoing throughout the song and touches of beautiful somber notes.

Both Daniel Alvarez and Jordan Dunn-Pilz can easily appeal to your sad boy side when it comes to developing music. “It’s Alive!” focuses on the psychological aftermath of getting out of a long-term relationship and how it can affect or alter your state of mind leaving you confused with more questions. The song carries very somber lyrical notes all while using a Frankenstein metaphor navigating the story of the song into madness, but at altogether being an imperfect whole.

“You put me back together wrong I know you did, I feel your air in my lungs breath, I'll never be what you want me to be, I'll never be what you want me to be”. It’s a beautifully dark story about being an imperfect human trying to figure out where everything goes wrong and how to become whole again while feeling like a monster.
