TIGERS JAW DEBUT SWEEPING NEW SINGLE AND VIDEO “BREEZER”
Tigers Jaw have unveiled “Breezer,” the sweeping latest single from their highly anticipated new album Lost On You, due out March 27 via Hopeless Records. The track arrives alongside a cinematic music video directed by Rebecca Lader and Kelsey Ayres, which premiered through FLOOD Magazine.
“Breezer” highlights vocalist Brianna Collins in both sound and vision. Musically, the track leans into Tigers Jaw’s signature blend of emotional indie rock and expansive instrumentation. Gentle guitar layers and steady percussion create a slow-building atmosphere while Collins’ voice anchors the track with a calm yet vulnerable delivery. The result is a song that feels reflective and quietly powerful, unfolding with patience rather than urgency.
The accompanying video places Collins at the center of a visually rich, dreamlike narrative. Wandering through palatial and otherworldly spaces, she moves through scenes that feel both intimate and surreal, reinforcing the song's introspective tone.
“From the beginning, we imagined ‘BREEZER’ as an inward journey. A world shaped by comfort, solitude, and self-connection rather than isolation,” explain co-directors Lader and Ayres. “The film becomes Brianna’s inner landscape. A lived-in ceremonial space where memory and ritual feel sacred and emotionally honest, and where her internal state shapes the visual world around her. Inspired by Romanticism, mythology, and the still intimacy of Sofia Coppola, Alex Prager, and David Lynch, we approached it more as a short film than a music video. Every choice, pacing, framing, and light follow emotion rather than tempo, responding to the song’s quiet shifts. Moments are allowed to linger, unfolding like memory instead of performance.”
Collins also reflected on the meaning behind the track. “I tend to romanticize past versions of myself in moments of uncertainty, while also finding comfort in life’s unpredictability,” she explains. “‘BREEZER’ is about the ebb and flow of insecurity, doubt, and escapism, and my gradual acceptance of the cyclical nature of these feelings.”
The single and video for “Breezer” are available now, with Lost On You arriving March 27.
