SWAMPFOOT MAKE A MASSIVE RACKET ON NEW SINGLE “ONE WORLD”

New York hardcore punk duo SWAMPFOOT have dropped their latest single, “ONE WORLD,” along with an accompanying lyric video, giving us another taste of their forthcoming debut album.

Formed in 2025 by Cliff Hodson (vocals/bass) and Jordan Greene (drums), SWAMPFOOT have somehow managed to make two people sound like an entire room full of pissed-off musicians. The band's massive sound is built around Hodson splitting a single bass signal through pedals and multiple amps, while Greene absolutely hammers away behind the kit. No guitarist necessary.

“ONE WORLD” wastes very little time getting after it. The track clocks in at just over two minutes and barrels forward with a surging rhythm, filthy low end, pounding drums, and the kind of raw energy that makes the band's two-piece setup even harder to believe. It's heavy without feeling bloated and carries enough punk swagger to keep things moving from beginning to end.

The single follows previously released tracks “No Matter What” and “Master Plan,” both of which helped establish SWAMPFOOT's collision of hardcore, punk, metal, and old-school thrash. “ONE WORLD” continues that approach while sounding like a band increasingly comfortable with exactly what they want to be.

SWAMPFOOT recorded their forthcoming debut with Teen Mortgage producer Kenny Eaton at Mystery Ton Studios in July 2025. The sessions leaned heavily into an old-school approach, utilizing live-tracked drums, analog recording, vintage amps, and Hodson's heavily manipulated bass signal to build something considerably bigger than you'd expect from two dudes with a bass and drum kit.

The band's self-titled debut album is set to arrive November 13, 2026, with “ONE WORLD” serving as the latest warning of what's coming. If SWAMPFOOT can make this much noise with two people, we're probably better off not asking what would happen if they added a third.
