STEPHEN BREWER EXCEEDS ASPIRATIONS WITH HIS FIRST SOLO TRACK “BEYOND DESIRE”

“Beyond Desire,” the first track released from Stephen Brewer’s solo project, is a technically sound metal song that incorporates all the traits of a great heavy song: tasty riffs, smooth melodies, a booming rhythm section, and passionate vocals. Brewer, a seasoned musician best known for his time in Lions at the Gate and collaborations with the likes of Randy Blythe (Lamb of God) and Tatiana Shmayluk (Jinjer), has progressed into an individual venture that combines all his experiences to form a crushing sound with a smooth blend of aggression and melodies.

“Beyond Desire” features vocals from the legendary Jesse Leach (Killswitch Engage, Times of Grace), and after Brewer throws you in the deep end with a heavy intro, Leach comes in and immediately makes his presence known with his recognizable vocals.  The mix of Brewer’s music and Leach’s vocals mastered the ability to co-exist without getting in each other’s way. Make no mistake, Leach is not just there for street cred and a name drop; his lyrics, voice, and melodies elevate Brewer’s music like few vocalists could, complementing each other perfectly.

With “Beyond Desire,” Brewer proves to be an exceptional songwriter, seamlessly blending his riffs, thunderous rhythm section, and Leach’s melody and vocals into a banger of a song that you can’t help but move your head to.
