SILVERSTEIN’S NEW SINGLE “DON’T LET ME GET TOO LOW” IS A REAL SHREDDER
Rock heroes Silverstein have done it yet again. Through years of hard work, they have made their mark on the scene, solidifying a signature sound that shines in their latest effort, “Don’t Let Me Get Too Low.”
Structurally, the song follows the format of the “greats.” Each verse and chorus takes a life of its own, traversing deeply personal lyrical themes. The song suggests that too much time alone allows for dark thoughts to overtake everything else. I’m sure we’ve all been there; I know I have.
However, what’s impressive about this single is the contrast between the instrumental and the lyrics. On the surface, the lyrics are anxious and sad, while the instrumental conveys an angry layer that wouldn’t be as noticeable with a different delivery.
Of course, these expert musicians know how to rip a hard riff. Still, the attention to detail puts Silverstein and “Don’t Let Me Get Too Low” at the top of our on-repeat list.
