SCHOOL OF X DROPS GORGEOUS ACOUSTIC SINGLE “ANGEL” WITH AN ACCOMPANYING MUSIC VIDEO

Rasmus Littauer’s project, School of X, resonates heavily with local European audiences but has the potential to cross over globally. Their newest drop, a stunning acoustic single called “Angel,” highlights a softer, more innocent side of romance.

The track builds slowly as it tells its story. Audiences are introduced to the narrator’s world and surrounding characters, including the main love interest. There is a noticeable emphasis on “seventh grade.” This seems to have a double meaning; the group’s last record was ‘Seventh Heaven,’ but seventh grade represents adolescence.

This is later solidified in the song when the love interest appears. Stunning harmonies round everything out, concluding the plot of the song generously.

Overall, “Angel” is appropriately named for such an angelic track. School of X has a certain irreplaceable charm. Their earnest love for their partner, as well as life itself, is heard throughout each of their songs.
