SACE6 TURN THE TERAGRAM BALLROOM INTO THEIR OWN BRUTALIST WORLD
A long line stretched outside the Teragram Ballroom for sace6’s sold-out headline show, where friends, family, and multiple generations of fans packed the room. One young fan even arrived wearing a shirt reading, “sace6 is my first concert.” Not a bad place to start.
Opening the night was vampp, who took the stage covered in blood and dressed in a striking red, white, and black aesthetic. Despite some audio issues, she powered through a set featuring “mourn,” “remove myself,” and “babydoll,” with the crowd singing louder and cheering her on.
AVOID followed, immediately kicking the room into another gear. Their increasingly heavy set brought deep instrumentals, fierce screams, and plenty of pit action, while the band’s playful interactions kept things from ever feeling too serious.
Then came sace6.
Performing brutalist in its entirety, the band transformed the Teragram with lasers, strobes, fog, and intense backlighting that brought their sleek grayscale aesthetic to life. The result felt less like watching a show and more like stepping directly into the world surrounding the album.
After finishing brutalist, the band returned to a roaring crowd for an encore of “devotion,” featuring Eddie Fuego covering Noah’s verse.
The brutalist, initial display. ultimately felt like an exhibition of sace6’s potential. Their “thall-n-b” sound has grown heavier, their visual identity sharper, and the connection between the two more deliberate.
At the Teragram Ballroom, sace6 didn’t simply perform brutalist. They brought its entire world to life.
