PROFESSIONAL 101’S NEW ROCK JAM “FRANK OF STEEL” IS A RIPPER

Professional 101 have just unleashed a blistering new rock ’n’ roll anthem titled “Frank of Steel,” and they waste absolutely no time getting down to business.

The track opens with a kick-ass drumstick count-off before launching into a back-and-forth rhythm section battle between a rumbling bass groove and booming floor toms. It’s a simple but ridiculously effective way to pull you in, and Professional 101 makes sure you’re paying attention before the rest of the band comes crashing through.

About thirty seconds in, “Frank of Steel” suddenly shifts gears and kicks into punk-rock mode. Just when you start getting comfortable there, the band changes things up again with a pummeling breakdown-like bridge that gives the track an entirely different punch. There’s a restless energy running through the song, with Professional 101 constantly finding ways to keep things moving without cramming too much into the mix.

The title “Frank of Steel” might not exactly roll off the tongue, but once the band starts belting out “Frank of Steel, now he’s living,” during the song’s climactic crescendo, it somehow makes perfect sense. It’s weird, catchy, and probably going to be bouncing around your head long after the song ends.

Rock fans looking for something loaded with hooks, pounding rhythms, and a little punk-rock attitude should find plenty to love here. Professional 101 bring a manic energy to “Frank of Steel” that makes the whole thing one hell of a fun listen.
