Paper Anthem fronted by American singer/songwriter Joseph Hitchcock released their first music of 2021 in the form of new single “Sign Language” ahead of their appropriately named third album, The Year You’ll Never Get Back to be released on the 19th March.

New single “Sign Language” is a well-orchestrated indie-rock ballad soft in timbre and anthemic in structure. The tune features hooky lead guitar licks, a cute yet emotionally-heavy animated video, turns dreamy in parts pushing Joseph’s passionate lyricism to the forefront.

After continuous support in the US and Canada on their first two full-length albums, Paper Anthem set for their most creative venture yet with their newest LP. The Year You'll Never Get Back plans to tackle issues surrounding body dysmorphia, immigration, the fall of friendships and a tale of lovers trapped within a telepathic dream singularity.
