YELLOWCARD ANNOUNCE FIRST ALBUM IN NEARLY A DECADE, DROP TWO NEW SINGLES INCLUDING “BETTER DAYS”
Yellowcard is officially back in action. The pop-punk veterans have just dropped two new tracks—“Better Days” and “honestly i”—and announced their first full-length album in nearly a decade, Better Days, set to release on October 10 via Better Noise Music.
Produced and drummed by blink-182’s Travis Barker, Better Days marks a bold return for the band. Frontman Ryan Key described the process as transformative, stating, “I started the record as one version of myself and came out the other side changed.”
The title track, “Better Days,” is an unflinching reflection on gratitude, perspective, and purpose, accompanied by a music video directed by Jordan Phoenix that showcases the band's renewed energy and camaraderie. The second single, “honestly i,” offers a more introspective vibe, blending classic Yellowcard melodies with a modern edge.
The album features notable collaborations, including Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio on “Love Letters Lost” and Avril Lavigne on “You Broke Me Too.” The full tracklist is as follows:
Better Days
Take What You Want
Love Letters Lost (feat. Matt Skiba)
honestly i
