FIT FOR A KING DROP “BEGIN THE SACRIFICE” VIDEO

Metalcore giants Fit For a King have returned with fire and fury, dropping the explosive new single and video “Begin the Sacrifice,” a crushing preview of their newly announced album Lonely God, due out August 1st via Solid State Records.
Relentless, visceral, and soaked in existential weight, “Begin the Sacrifice” wastes no time throwing punches. Thunderous riffs and guttural screams collide with cinematic production, crafting a track that feels both apocalyptic and emotionally raw. As always, Fit For a King balance brutality with purpose—this time diving deep into themes of suffering, redemption, and inner reckoning.
The accompanying video pulls no punches either. Packed with chaos, smoke, and fire-lit visuals, it paints a grim but powerful narrative of spiritual and psychological collapse—setting the tone for what Lonely God is shaping up to be: a deeply personal, theologically heavy record that finds the band stretching their emotional and sonic boundaries.
And the good news doesn’t stop there—Fit For a King will bring Lonely God to the stage this Fall 2025 with a massive headline tour featuring a stacked lineup: Make Them Suffer, Spite, and 156/Silence will join the run, making this one of the year’s most anticipated heavy tours.
After over a decade of pummeling breakdowns and introspective lyrics, Fit For a King aren’t slowing down—they're leveling up. Lonely God promises to be their most ambitious work yet, and “Begin the Sacrifice” is the first chapter in what’s sure to be a punishing and profound new era.
