Portuguese Indie rock band Minta & The Brook Trout have released their fourth studio album ‘Demolition Derby’ with a new nostalgic city track "Neighbourhood" that will have the listener battling through buried emotional tides. Their music video also premiered during the drop depicting creative visuals of city landscapes and moving ocean currents that warmly nurtures a wandering soul.

Their new track finds a way of numbing the way drugs do those overheated spots in the heart that quake when you revisit a past relationship, and singer/songwriter Francisca Cortesao has powerful soothing vocals with abilities to temporarily wash away heartaches with one word at a time. The entire track is an addicting medicine that keeps staying alive through its entirety; each member kept the pulse going, bass player, Mariana Ricardo kept that low bass sound to keep the sentimental yet hopeful tone alive as you reach the end of the line.

The music video visualizes a type of aftermath when you’re on the healing path to survival and helps nurture all the corner streets, city views, and ocean fronts that once meant a lot to you, but now hard to get used to all by yourself. The lyrics leave you at the edge because it ends with a sense of ambiguity while you’re on the road of self-recovery, and ends with a choice of doing it all again, or being one with the universe.

The new track sets up a great trip down memory lane with chapters rolling through your head of only the good times and some bad, but a lesson learned as you come out stronger making it a perfect medicine song of the album.
