ME & MUNICH DELIVER NEW INDIE ROCK SINGLE “THIS ROOM”
Danish noise-rock band, Me & Munich, delivers a single that will scratch that 2010’s indie rock wave that we’ve all been missing so dearly. This song is an epic journey, with layers and layers of lead vocals, organized shoegaze chaos, and instrumental build-ups and lead guitars that will have you playing air guitar while no one is looking. “The Room” starts as a seemingly soft indie lo-fi production, then quickly punches you so good in the face with the band’s signature layers of melodic guitars and fuzzy leads for a familiar yet unique indie rock sound. It hits that specific feeling of happiness/sadness with its melodies - there’s something melancholic and nostalgic that you can’t quite place, but at the same time you still want to dance around your room to this song.
This one will scratch the same brain-itch as Bloc Party, The Strokes, and The Shins. Maybe even a little sprinkle of Foo Fighters in this one?
Forming in 2018 from the ashes of a former band, Shocking White, Me & Munich has been an exciting new era to watch as they consistently deliver and surprise us with their nostalgic tunes.
