LOWNE GIVES US NEW LO-FI DREAM POP SINGLE “YARD SALE”
Dallas-based co-producers and lovers Abby Cole (Velcro Baby Ego) and Matheus Nascimento (Slowaves) team up to make the duo Lowne.
Their latest single, “Yard Sale,” is a dream-pop lo-fi masterpiece for fans of Mazzy Star and Mac DeMarco while holding elements of 70’s soul and psychedelic tendencies. The catchy tune starts with airy, shimmery vocals that create space between us and reality. With sparkly, fun bells and synths and bubbly and sensual lyrics, “Yard Sale” will surely lull you into a feel-good daydream about that special someone on your mind.
The lyrical sentiment explores the feeling of being with someone who truly lets you let your baggage go (“I’ll be here till sundown / If you want, bring your junk down”) but also explores the deeper side of what that really can mean, ("Clean up the mess in your head / Shove it all under the bed”).
This song will have you dancing around your room on a sunny day, cleaning up your recent physical or mental messes. We look forward to these two lovebirds giving us more of their combined minds in this dreamy duo!
