LB BEISTAD’S “BUZZARDS” IS INSTANTLY LIKABLE, MELODIC ACCENTED INDIE ROCK AND POP

You might not fully grasp what LB Beistad’s new single “Buzzards” is about after a few listens, but honestly, it doesn’t matter. The track is instantly enjoyable, undeniably catchy, and marks a noticeable leap forward for the artist. Compared to her earlier release “I Want You” (previously reviewed here at GSM), “Buzzards” lands with far more impact and lingers long after it ends.

Where “I Want You” felt mellow and understated, “Buzzards” brings a sharper edge. Beistad’s vocals are bolder, more commanding—less passive observer, more active narrator. The musical arrangement is also more dynamic and textured, with a brisk tempo and brighter production that give the song momentum and depth.

It’s a clear step up in both songwriting and performance, and signals exciting things ahead. With “Buzzards,” LB Beistad proves she's an artist worth paying close attention to as her sound continues to evolve and her voice grows stronger in both confidence and clarity.
