LAMB OF GOD UNVEIL NEW SINGLE “PARASOCIAL CHRIST”

The legendary Richmond metal outfit Lamb of God have returned with their newest standalone single, “Parasocial Christ,” accompanied by a cinematic music video.
Produced by longtime collaborator Josh Wilbur, the track maintains the band’s signature ferocity while launching into a sharp critique of social media, voyeurism, and how we give our attention away.
Randy Blythe explains the inspiration behind the song: “The Information Age has birthed the attention economy… Every second spent clicking and scrolling through the trivial and/or sordid details of other people’s lives … is another dollar in some already obscenely wealthy tech bro’s wallet. You are a product, and you are being sold in a marketplace you have no share in.”
Musically, “Parasocial Christ” rings with the urgency and rage that have made Lamb of God one of the pillars of modern heavy music. The guitars shred with precision, the rhythm section hammers with unrelenting power, and Blythe’s voice pushes through with clarity and menace. The video, directed by Jon Vulpine, reinforces the theme by depicting a man’s descent into obsession and digital madness.
With tickets now on sale for Lamb of God’s Spring 2026 North American tour—featuring support from the likes of Kublai Khan, Fit for an Autopsy, and Sanguisugabogg—it’s clear the band is gearing up for a significant moment.
