CREEPER ANNOUNCE SANGUIVORE II: MISTRESS OF DEATH OUT OCTOBER 31, DROP NEW SINGLE “BLOOD MAGICK (IT’S A RITUAL)”
Creeper is ready to drench your Halloween in blood and theatrics. The UK’s premier goth-punk misfits have announced their next chapter: Sanguivore II: Mistress of Death, the highly anticipated sequel to their acclaimed 2023 album Sanguivore. The record is set to arrive on October 31 via Spinefarm Records, making this All Hallows’ Eve even darker. Pre-orders are live now.
To mark the announcement, Creeper unleashed the blistering new single “Blood Magick (It’s a Ritual)”, complete with a suitably occult music video that feels like a cult ceremony gone wrong — or exactly right. The track blends their signature glam-goth swagger with pounding rhythms, razor-sharp riffs, and an infectious chorus that’s already destined to be shouted by black-clad fans under stage lights.
“Blood Magick” continues the lore-heavy storytelling Creeper have become known for, with frontman Will Gould once again leading the charge like a theatrical vampire preacher. The video, dripping with red and ritualistic imagery, sets the tone for what promises to be their most ambitious record yet.
Following the cult success of Sanguivore, which saw Creeper lean even harder into their cinematic, vampire-infused world-building, Sanguivore II: Mistress of Death looks poised to raise the stakes. Expect more sweeping gothic soundscapes, snarling punk energy, and a narrative steeped in death, desire, and the supernatural.
With a release date locked for Halloween, the band is fully leaning into their dark aesthetic — and if this new single is any indication, they’ve never sounded more confident or dangerous.
