INVISIBLE ANIMALS TAKE DANCE GRUNGE TO NEW HEIGHTS ON "FACE PICS"

Invisible Animals are a raging new “dance grunge” band from LA. If their new single, “Face Pics” is any indication, they’ve got a long and rad career ahead of them. “Face Pics” conjures memories of 2000’s indie luminaries like LCD Soundsystem, The Faint, and Death From Above 1969, but with an extra layer of rawness and grime baked into their DNA. The bass lines groove, and the fuzzed-out guitars have the perfect amount of distortion, the drummer might wind up in jail for murdering his hi-hat so proficiently, and the vocals lure you further and further down the song’s rocking rabbit hole, you might lose track of time and accidentally listen to this three and half minute song on a loop for a half hour or so.
