INDIE ROCK'S EDDIE RELEASES NEW SINGLE "BLAME IT ON THE TWILIGHT"
Warsaw-based trio Zofia Alka, Emil Wilk-Mian, and Maciej Siemiaktoski make up indie rock’s EDDIE. The group first emerged in 2018 with their first debut EP, ‘Hshoushch’, and soon after began hitting the festival circuit.
EDDIE’s single "Blame It On The Twilight" is not just your typical heartbreak song. "'Blame It On The Twilight’ is a piece about a traumatic love experience that the vocalist and lyricist Zofia Alka went through in her high school years," says the band. "The song is more of a commentary on the widespread acceptance and at times even propagation of toxic role models among our society. The presence of violence is often mistaken for affection." The band hopes that when you listen you feel passion, sorrow, and nostalgia.
