IDLER WHEEL TAKES US ON A HORN DRIVEN JOURNEY BACK TO A PAST TIME WITH NEW SINGLE "ASTRA"

Boston based lo-fi rock group Idler Wheel releases "Astra", their second track off their upcoming debut album. Inspired by bands like The National and Arcade Fire, Idler Wheel turns the corner and introduces "Astra" with a lively horn line followed by the deeply rooted rumination of a father and son relationship. A sultry voice brings you back to the days of David Bowie, Brian Eno, and Iggy Pop beginning with emotional and dynamic lyrics: "Walk alone in your father’s eyes, nothing left to say that time". You can hear the push and pull of the co-dependent relationship with couplets sprinkled throughout: "you were mine and I was yours". A contemplating storyline of requited or unrequited love, leaving you to draw your own conclusion with nothing but your own feelings, and your own story in order to feel complete.
