HONEYSUCKER’S LATEST TRACK, “LOST” IS A WRY, SARDONIC LOOK AT A RELATIONSHIP’S END

Brooklyn, New York-based band Honeysucker’s new single, “Lost,” echoes the musical and stylistic bent of The Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, and Mayer Hawthorne. The pointed song is about a breakup, is downbeat to an extent, and is dark. Yet it also manages to have a lightness to it, with a pop indie/new wave vein coursing through the eclectic number. “Lost” also possesses unique time signatures that make the track different. R&B also influences Honeysucker along the abovementioned genres into an exciting and catchy melting pot of sound. Musicians Jack Buckner and Sam Wright have added Zach Kornhauser and Gavi Kutliroff to their live lineup.
